Protection of personal information and handling personal information securely is of utmost importance for the SIF Website Editorial. SIF Editorial handles personal and public data according to Act LXIII of 1992 and recommendations of the ombudsma.

It is not necessary to provide personal information to view the page’s content

SIF follows the guidelines enlisted below during the operation of the site

• Personal data disclosed unintentionally is not forwarded or saved.
• Personal data disclosed intentionally are only used for the purpose it was disclosed for, and shall not be forwarded for other purposes.
• User data will only be published as statistics, without a linkage to personal user data.
• Editorial protects all personal data in its possession with all possible legal means.

SIF is provided automatically with the following data of its website visitors: IP address of the user, domain name of the user, time and date of visit, data on the visited pages, the user’s browser. SIF shall use these data only for statistic purposes related to the site, monitor trends and statistic information; and destroys these figures after processing them.
